Hanging Lake, CO

This is one of my favorite early summer hikes out here in Colorado. The trail is a short 1.2 miles each way, though with a vertical over 1000′, that ends perched on a cliff at this beautiful lake. This year I made it up during the spring run off and the waterfalls were just majestic. If you’re ever around Glenwood Springs in the warmer months definitely give this trail a go.

And here’s a bonus picture from the place I was staying up there.
