Everybody’s Favorite Mountain Town

This is probably my favorite location in Colorado. Nestled in the bosom of the Colorado Rocky Mountains is a small mining community that was abandoned in 1984 under orders by the EPA. The town has been left to the elements and the adventurous travelers that pass through. I only shot in about 5 of the 100 or so buildings today, but I plan on camping up there this summer and really giving the town the attention it deserves.
